Dear passengers,
If you are traveling across one of 52 border crossings in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you should be aware of following regulations and obligations as a traveler crossing a state border.
Foreign travelers are exempted from customs duty for goods of a non-commercial nature, which they carry within their personal baggage.
The definition of "personal baggage" for customs purpose applies only to the traveler's personal effects intended for consumption or use by the traveler, including those items necessary for the conduct of his or her business, but in any case compatible with the circumstances of his or hers trip.
Each traveler exempted from duty for the following goods, per day:
1. goods of non-commercial nature, including gifts and souvenirs, values of which does not exceed 200 KM,
2. Tobacco products:
- 200 pcs of cigarettes; or
- 100 pcs of cigarillos; or
- 250 g of tobacco;
3. Alcohol drinks:
- 2 l of table wine;
- 1 l of strong alcohol drinks of 22% vol.; or 2 l stronger or sparking wine;
4. Perfumes and eau de toilette:
- 60 cc/ml of perfume;
- 250 cc/ml eau de toilette.
Passengers younger than 17 years of age are not exempted from customs duty listed under (2) and (3).
