The renowned border between Europe and Asia, a border of civilizations, religions, views of the world and large ethno-political communities, passes through Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is why the mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be a bridge rather than a gap, a gate rather than a wall.

Through the history, this country was the throbbing point of meeting of East and the West. Coming to this region, the man from the West tried to change the current state with its actions. The men from the East, however, tried to contemplate on the higher level of meaning. During that time both of them felt at home, because Bosnia and Herzegovina does not welcome the guests with the hostility of foreign land, nor threads on the unknown.

The region Herzegovina is located in the south-eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is an economically well integrated region with a population estimated at about 500.000. The town Mostar is the capital economic, cultural and political centre of the region.

Međugorje

Međugorje is the Shrine of Our Lady located only 25 kilometers from Mostar Airport. It has had over 25 million visitors since the miracle in the early 1980's. It has become a real paradise for the faithful and is now the most visited place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mostar

Mostar is an extraordinary town in every sense of the word. It is 60 km away from the Adriatic Sea, and in the City and its vicinity, there are famous and unique locations of cultural/historical treasure and heritage witnessing the life in this area from even before the ancient times. Mostar is city of sun, greenery, flowers distinguished with very comfortable Mediterranean climate with long summers. It also offers great business opportunities as the strongest economic, cultural and political centre in Herzegovina region.
